OUR STORY
On March 15th 2020 the President of Peru declared nationwide martial law quarantine due to the Covid pandemic. This caused the international & interregional borders to be closed for months. Along with the loss of tourism + travel, businesses were severely restricted. Schools have been closed & children are suffering without educational resources. These new strict laws have caused devastating consequences for the whole nation, especially in the rural areas whom are already economically vulnerable & challenged.
People are barely surviving in Peru & in psychological + educational distress.
This is why we started The Cultural Community, to help those in desperate need.
MISSION
We help people by giving them the resources for a healthy lifestyle in rural developing indigenous communities. We support cultural preservation & sustainable environmental practices to assist all life threatened in the Amazon Rainforest & Andes Mountains of Peru.
We focus our energy towards creating opportunities for these communities by ensuring ongoing jobs, providing fair trade product sales, adequate education, food, water, shelter, health care & other basic needs.
VISION
We strive to create cultural equality & unity by building bridges that support those lacking resources. A place where people can go for educational, economical, medical & emotional support to ensure future opportunities + global change for minorities.
This is not just physical buildings but a group of people around the world coming together to share resources for social equality.
We seek to reach those that aren’t being seen or heard, whose human rights are being extinct & opportunities are rarely offered.
We empower the people in poverty & indigenous tribes in the Amazon Rainforest & Andes Mountains that lack common first world resources.
We fill any gaps that inhibits rural minorities to graduate, succeed and/or possess the same rights as those in more developed regions in the world.
IMPACT
The Cultural Community is constantly working to provide for local communities that are in vulnerable areas lacking the resources or funds to succeed.
We partner within our tribe 'The Cultural Community' to help establish sustainable farming, food, education, health care, shelter, clean water, local schools, supplies, training, teachers, health volunteers & reforestation workers.
We are grateful to help rural communities' sale their beautiful handmade products to the whole world. This is an amazing gift to give them while tourism has decreased dramatically. Everything you buy from The Cultural Community goes directly to the people in-need of it!
Due to the uprise & ongoing illegal mining/logging we have to make it a priority to plant trees & fill the destruction in the Amazon, rapidly. This will also provide a lot of opportunities for the locals to create jobs, sales of goods, tourism & make money.
Reforestation is crucial to the existence of all life in the world. Only by teaming up can we replant as fast as the Rainforest is being destroyed.
